Rophe Healthcare provides a full continuum of non-medical in-home respite and adult day services across Cook, Kane, and Will Counties — every service is person-centered, culturally sensitive, and guided by an individualized care plan.

Our goal is to fill the gaps in care — supporting independence, reducing hospitalizations, and giving primary caregivers the rest and respite they need and deserve.

Please note: Rophe Healthcare provides non-medical supportive care only. We do not provide skilled nursing, medical diagnosis, or administer medications. When clinical needs are identified, we coordinate referrals to licensed home health providers.

How do I get started or refer a client?

Getting started is simple. Call us at (708) 526-5818, email us at [email protected], or submit a referral through our Contact page. We accept referrals from physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and families. Our team will follow up promptly to begin the intake process.

What is the difference between ADL assistance and in-home respite?

ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assistance focuses on hands-on support with essential personal care tasks — bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and eating. In-home respite is broader and focuses on providing structured care and companionship in the home while giving the primary caregiver a break. Both services can be provided together as part of a comprehensive care plan.

Do you provide services for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's?

Yes. Our Memory Care Support program is specifically designed for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory-related conditions. We offer structured programming including art therapy, music therapy, and cognitive activities — all delivered by caregivers trained in memory care support.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs or health conditions?

Absolutely. Our meal planning and preparation service specifically accommodates dietary restrictions related to acute and chronic disease conditions — including diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and more. All dietary needs are documented in the individualized service plan and followed consistently by our care team.

Do you provide transportation directly?

We provide referrals to safe, reliable transportation providers and assist clients with scheduling, route planning, and community access. Our team also provides escort support to ensure safe transit to and from appointments and activities.

Are your services available for veterans?

Yes. We have a dedicated Veteran Assistance Program that helps veterans coordinate services through VA Clinics and Hospitals, access housing support, navigate benefits, and connect with community resources. We are committed to honoring those who have served.
